Creative, Story Telling Wedding Photography in Calgary Alberta

Canmore Wedding, Elie and Christelle.

In Aug I had the chance to capture the story of Christelle and Elie.  We were in beautiful Canmore Alberta Canada. We had a beautiful day full of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Christelle was stunning in her mermaid dress and Elie was quite dashing in his suite. To complete the experience we had a beautiful vintage car and wonderful driver Gerard. The couple`s love was accented by the splendor of the majestic rocky mountains and the serenity of the Silvertip resort. The day was full of emotion as the couple were surrounded by family and good friends. Christelle had two dresses and two pair of shoes, the reason for this became very apparent when the dance kicked off! Party rock was in the house!

below is a selection of my favourite images from the event please enjoy. Thanks to Lynn Fletcher Weddings for their planning skills and to the Christelle and Elie for their love for one and other.

    Hi Jeff,
It took me a while to leave a comment but I think it is important that I do so.
Elie and I really really appreciated what you did for us. The pictures are amazing, the quality of your work is outstanding! We keep on going back and have a look at them over and over. This says a lot especially when we are not overly romantic. You made our day so very special, so thank you for that!
I can’t believe how patient and discrete you were. You took pictures I did not even know you took. You captured important moments with friends and family, without us noticing you were around.
You made us feel comfortable and made sure we did not look tensed on any pictures, no ones would ever know how stressful that day was. Nothing looks staged, it all looks so natural! We love how you paid attention to the fact that we wanted to capture the beauty of the nature as well. We honestly have nothing bad to say!
It seemed that you were more like a friend than a photographer. I usually hate being in front of a camera, but I can say with confidence that this experience was a blast and we (Elie and I) would be glad to work with you again in a near future.

Thanks again from the bottom of my heart!

    • Thank you Christelle
These are the best words any photographer can hear! You were a lot of fun to work with and made my job more enjoyable also. This is exactly how I hope my clients view my work as “friends”.
I hope you continue to enjoy for many, many more years,Jeffrey
